More than a bar — the heart of the camp
The Sunset Bar is right at the kite spot — our rooftop terrace overlooking the Kalpitiya Lagoon. During the day it's the social hub while you wait for conditions. When the wind picks up, everyone heads to the water. When the sun goes down, everyone comes back.
Cold beers, fresh juices, bar snacks, upbeat music and the kind of easy atmosphere you only get at a real kite camp. No dress code, no reservations — just good people, great sunsets and stories from the water.

Cold beers, cocktails, fresh juices, soft drinks and light snacks. The bar is open from mid-morning and stays lively well into the evening during the season.
The best sunset view in Kalpitiya
The rooftop terrace faces directly west over the lagoon. Every evening the sky turns orange and red — and you have front-row seats. Cameras ready.
Vibes & community
Upbeat music, a mix of kiters from all over the world, and the kind of laid-back energy that makes you forget you were supposed to leave two days ago.
Our dinner buffet — local + international, every evening
As the sun goes down, everyone gathers around for one of the best parts of the day. Our local chef prepares a hearty buffet that mixes Sri Lankan classics with international favourites — and it changes every night.
Fresh homemade curry, grilled seafood, chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies, a variety of pastas, and our legendary Sri Lankan Kothu. Dinner is more than food — it's when students, instructors and staff come together to share stories, laugh and wind down.
